As a writer, editor, copy editor and proofreader, I know the steps necessary to go from the kernel of an idea to a professionally crafted piece of writing. My writing background includes being a columnist, movie reviewer, and blogger, with bylines at the Honolulu Advertiser (now Star Advertiser), the San Francisco Independent, and Tonic.com.
I studied journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and have earned multiple certificates related to climate change, a topic I’m passionate about.
